PDN’s Jacqueline Tobin interviewed me about the potential of using the iPad as a portfolio. The interview, which is running in the July, 2010 issue of PDN, showcased several of my images and a link to the iPad portfolio video I created for my online magazine The F STOP. A shot of the PDN feature and my iPad video follow below.
The below image from my Aerial Abstracts series won a spot in the 2010 Communication Arts Photo Annual. The image will be featured in the July/August 2010 issue of Communication Arts.
My True Love project is a winner in the “Website” category of the 2010 PDN Photo Annual which will hit newsstands in May. Below is an excerpt from my submission to the competition:
“[I created a separate website for True Love because] the photographs in this series were created under very unique circumstances and in order to fully appreciate them people needed to understand the back-story. I had the website designed with this simple but important fact in mind.
A clean, minimalist aesthetic was used to present the introduction, images and quotes so people could easily become absorbed in the content.
A high-quality behind-the-scenes video was produced to further inform viewers about the project and allow people to more deeply connect with the people featured in the portraits.”
